Mason Greenwood arrested for allegedly assaulting his model girlfriend, after she shared bloodied pictures.
After being accused of domestic violence, the 20-year-old was detained on charges of rape and assault.
Mason Greenwood became a global social media sensation on Sunday, January 30th, 2021, as a result of graphic photos and an audio recording thatappeared to show him attempting to forcefully have sex with her.
The charges were made public on Instagram on Sunday morning, and included video, photos, and a voice note purportedly from Greenwood and the woman.
The 20-year-old striker was arrested, according to police, after the claims were made public through aseries of violent Instagram posts.

‘Greater Manchester Police was made aware earlier today (Sunday 30 January) of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence.
‘An investigation was launched and following enquiries we can confirm a man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
‘He remains in custody for questioning.
‘Enquiries are ongoing.
