Next Cash and Carry, a prominent shop in Abuja’s Jahi District and owned by Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, is currently on fire.
Around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, the mall in the Jahi Area of the Federal Capital Territory went up in flames.
As rescue personnel attempted to save the situation, thick smoke could be visible throughout the mall.
Obi is also a previous vice presidential candidate who ran in the 2019 elections under the Peoples Democratic Party platform.
