Nigerians have blasted Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest and the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, for referring to Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as a “stingy man.”
Nigerians on Facebook condemned the cleric’s statement, claiming that he called the presidential contender a “stingy man” because he (Mbaka) couldn’t “emotionally blackmail Obi.”
Mbaka drew much attention after claiming that the former Anambra State governor could not win the general election next year because he is “stingy.”
The preacher said it would be impossible for Obi to become Nigeria’s president during one of his programs in Enugu, adding that an old man president is preferable to a’stingy young man.’
“Chinedu OkoroSo you want Obi to spend his hard earned money anyhow, did you hear that he stole money from his government? please leave obi alone and continue with your political friends who stole their government dry in other to please people like you.Abba mansur

Matudi Wajim“This is actually shameful. When has it become a law in the Holy Bible to force people to make donation in the Church? We have to be wary and careful about so called men of God who are actually dubious politicians in the the house of God. May God deliver us from them all.”
