Sam Obiago is from Asaba, Delta State, in Nigeria’s south-central region. He was a filmmaker, TV personality, and movie producer.
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, confirmed the news of his colleague’s death on Thursday.
” He had been suffering from a stroke for some time, which had been treated, but regrettably he passed away at 2 a.m. today,” Rollas added.
The actor, who was affectionately referred to as Daddy Sam by his coworkers, worked in finance before deciding to pursue acting.
