Sending high-quality photographs on WhatsApp has been a challenge because all images transmitted through the app are compressed, resulting in a loss of original quality. Sending photos as documents is the only way to send them without losing their original quality. However, there are still certain limits.

When you send an image as a document, you can’t preview it before you download it. As a result, picky WhatsApp users, such as yourself, typically find downloading photographs as documents on WhatsApp quite inconvenient. That could change in the near future.

WhatsApp Beta revealed the update, which is believed to come with the Android 2.22.5.11 beta version.

WhatsApp users will be able to receive a preview of high-quality photographs sent before hitting the download button with this new update, saving you valuable data.

This feature will be released as a beta (along with all other features), which means that only a limited number of beta testers will be able to try it out. WhatsApp users will not be able to utilize this new function until the test is completed. When the functionality is made public, it will be available to all WhatsApp Android users via a Google Play Store update.

WhatsApp is getting a slew of new and exciting features for both Android and iOS. These features are primarily intended to make WhatsApp more user-friendly.
