It was that civil servants and the general public without confirmation of vaccination and negative PCR tests are currently barred from entering government premises in Abuja.

According to an undisclosed source, the presidential steering group on COVID-19, led by Boss Mustapha, announced in October that civil personnel without proof of vaccination and negative PCR testing would be denied entrance to government premises beginning December 1, 2021.

The Association of Senior Public Officials of Nigeria, on the other hand, had sought the Federal Government to extend the deadline for civil servants’ mandatory vaccination till March of next year, a move that the PSC had termed as “impossible.”

On Wednesday, Nigeria reported three cases of the coronavirus disease’s Omicron form.
